I just finished student teaching. Now on to find a job as an art teacher. Wish me luck! The job market for teachers is slim around here. However I am thinking about starting a new painting in the mean time. I want to paint something about me. Maybe about the drama my life saw last year and the good that eventually came from it. We'll see. Whatever I paint it will be in acrylic, cause that's what I've got. I may end up painting over my final from my painting class. You'll notice it isn't posted here. It was bad. Since September I've been taking classes towards my teaching certificate. I'm hoping to be an art teacher. I'm learning however that my program, while it has some good points, was not the best choice for me. I do not get along with my adviser. She has some good ideas but i do not agree with everything that falls from her lips. She seems to lack experience not in teaching but in the environment we will be teaching. I am to the point now that I am just jumping through hoops.
